Tee Cabin is an app for a small crew of golf friends to organise rounds, chat, and share photos. If something is broken, confusing, or wrong, write to support@teecabin.app. A person reads it.
How do I join a crew?
Somebody in the crew sends you the invite code. Open the app, create an account, choose Join a crew, and type the code in.
There is no other way in. Tee Cabin has no discovery and no public crews, and that is on purpose.
How do I start my own crew?
Create an account and choose Create a crew. You will be given an invite code to send to your buddies.
You can be in several crews at once (your Saturday guys, your brother’s), and each one is a separate, private room.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password?. We email you a code; you type it in and choose a new password. It is a number you type, not a link you click.
If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then write to us.
How do I report someone, or block them?
Press and hold any message or photo. The sheet that opens offers Report and Block for other people’s content, and Delete for your own.
Blocking is immediate and one-directional: their messages and photos stop reaching you, and they are not told. Reports go to a human, and we review them within 24 hours.
If you would rather write to us directly, use support@teecabin.app.
Somebody needs to be removed from our crew
The person who created the crew can remove a member from the Crew tab. A removed member cannot rejoin using the invite code they already know.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete account. It happens in the app, immediately, and you do not have to ask us.
It really deletes: your account, your profile, your messages, your photos, and the image files behind them. If you were the last member of a crew, that crew and its chat go with you. If you were not, the crew survives and somebody else becomes its owner.
This cannot be undone.
Does the app know where I am?
Only if you allow it, only roughly, and it is never stored.
If you allow location, the course picker sorts courses by rough distance so the ones near you come first. Your position is rounded to about 11 km before it leaves your phone, and it is not written to any database. If you decline, the picker simply asks you to search — it will not pretend to know where you are.
Do my photos carry my location?
No. Photo metadata — GPS coordinates, camera model, the time it was taken — is stripped before the photo is uploaded. What your crew sees is the picture, and nothing else.
Can I book a tee time in the app?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend. Real tee-sheet availability is not something an app like this can honestly obtain, so Tee Cabin links you to the course’s own booking page or phone number instead. Somebody phones the pro shop, books it, and marks the round as booked. The round then shows its exact time to the whole crew.
Does Tee Cabin keep scores or handicaps?
No. There is no score entry anywhere in the app, no handicap, and no leaderboard. It is five friends, not a competition.
