Tee Cabin

Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 July 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you create a Tee Cabin account. They are written in plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, write to support@teecabin.app and we will explain it.

1. What Tee Cabin is

Tee Cabin is an app for a crew of golf buddies. It helps you post a round, fill the foursome, remember the day afterwards, and keep score between yourselves.

Tee Cabin does not take bookings and does not handle money. When a round needs booking, the app links you out to the course’s own website or gives you its phone number. There is no wallet, no payment, no transfer and no IOU anywhere in this app. If your crew plays for something, that is between you, and the app never hears about it — it only ever counts points.

2. Your account

You must be 13 or older to use Tee Cabin. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.

A crew is private and invite-only. You get in with a code from someone already in it.

You can delete your account at any time, from your profile inside the app. Deleting it removes your profile, your photos, your messages and your seats. If you were the last member of a crew, that crew is deleted too, along with its chat, photos and rounds.

3. What you post

You own what you post. You are responsible for it.

By posting, you confirm you have the right to post it — that a photograph is yours to share, and that the people in it are content to be shown to your crew.

We do not sell your content, and we do not show it to anyone outside the crews you are in.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Tee Cabin. This is not a slogan; it is the rule we enforce.

You may not post, or use Tee Cabin to send, anything that is:

What happens if you do. Every message and every photo in this app can be reported, from the content itself: hold your finger on it. Any report reaches us, and we review reports and act within 24 hours. Content that breaks this rule is removed. Accounts that post it are removed from the crew, or terminated entirely, without notice and without refund (Tee Cabin is free, so there is nothing to refund — but we are saying it plainly).

You can also act immediately, yourself, without waiting for us:

Report abuse to support@teecabin.app if you would rather write to us directly.

5. Things you must not do to the app

Do not try to break into other people’s crews or accounts, scrape the app, abuse its APIs, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.

6. Course information

Course names, locations and websites come from OpenStreetMap and OpenGolfAPI, and weather comes from Open-Meteo. We pass them on as we find them. We do not know a course’s tee sheet — no such source exists — so the app never invents a tee time. It says “around 8 AM” until somebody in your crew has actually booked and tells it the real one.

Course data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence.

7. No warranty, and the limit of what we owe you

Tee Cabin is provided as is, and it is free. We do our best, but we do not promise it will be available, correct, or bug-free.

We are not responsible for what happens on the golf course, for a booking you did or did not make, for a round you missed, or for anything your crew settles between themselves.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us, which is nothing.

8. Ending it

You can stop using Tee Cabin whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app.

We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks section 4, and we will do so without warning where the content warrants it.

9. Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before you agree to the new ones.
