Walkout, a highlight video maker for young athletes. Updated October 23, 2026.

The short version

Walkout doesn't collect any data about you. There's no account, no server, no ads and no tracking.

Your clips, photos and edits

Your clips, photos, player card and edits stay on your phone. They only leave it when you share them yourself, for example to TikTok or Instagram.

You pick clips and photos with Apple's photo picker, so the app only sees the ones you choose. When you export an edit, the app asks to add it to your Photos; it can add there but can't read your library.

Your edits show what's on your card: your name, number, team, position, class year, photos and logo. Anyone you share an edit with sees them.

Finding you in a clip

When you tap yourself in a clip, the app finds and follows you using your phone's own processing. Nothing is uploaded.

Payments

Pro is paid through your Apple ID, as a yearly or monthly subscription or once for good. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details. The app checks whether Pro is on, on your phone.

Kids and parents

The app is made for young athletes. Because it collects nothing, there is nothing about a child for us to store, share or sell. If Ask to Buy is on for the account, a parent approves purchases.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes everything it kept: your clips, photos, card and edits inside it. Edits you saved to Photos stay there until you delete them in Photos. You can also delete any clip, photo or edit inside the app.

There's no account, so nothing is copied anywhere else. Keep iCloud Backup on, and your clips, card and edits come back on a new phone.
